Dusting Attack
When someone sends tiny amounts of crypto to many wallets to track the owners across the blockchain.
A dusting attack is not about stealing your funds directly. It is about identifying you. The attacker sends microscopic amounts of crypto to many wallets, then watches which addresses move that dust together, revealing links between wallets.
How it works
Once wallets are linked, the information can be used to target you with phishing, extortion, or fraud that feels eerily personal.
How to protect yourself
Do not spend or move small mystery deposits. Most wallets let you mark them as spam or hide them. Consider using separate wallets for separate purposes so a single leak does not expose everything you own.
