Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CryptoGal mobile application and any related services (together, the “App”), provided by CryptoGal Inc., a Delaware corporation (“CryptoGal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Welcome
These Terms create a legal agreement between you and CryptoGal Inc. Please read them carefully. They explain your rights, our responsibilities, and the limits of what CryptoGal offers.
Who can use CryptoGal
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the App. By using CryptoGal, you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use of the App complies with all laws applicable to you, including any local restrictions on cryptocurrency access or use.
What CryptoGal is — and isn't
CryptoGal is an educational and informational tool designed to help people build confidence and literacy around cryptocurrency. The App includes:
- An AI powered chat guide, built on Anthropic's Claude and grounded in a curated crypto knowledge base, for answering questions and explaining concepts.
- A Scam Analyzer that reviews text or screenshots you provide to flag common indicators of fraud.
- Educational courses, daily tips, and progress tracking (Learn).
- A non custodial digital wallet currently operating on test networks only (Purse), for practicing wallet fundamentals without real assets.
- A community space for events and shared experiences (Club).
CryptoGal is not a financial advisor, broker dealer, investment advisor, or money transmitter. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, legal, tax, or investment advice, and nothing should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions.
The AI chat guide
The AI chat feature uses a third party large language model (Anthropic's Claude) combined with a curated knowledge base to answer your questions. It is designed to be helpful and accurate, but it can make mistakes, and it should not be relied on as your sole source of information for any financial decision.
The AI chat guide will never ask you for your seed phrase, private keys, or wallet password. If you ever see it do so, stop, do not respond, and contact us immediately using the information below.
Non custodial architecture and your keys
CryptoGal does not create user accounts and does not store your personal information, wallet keys, or funds on our servers. Where the App generates or manages cryptographic keys:
- Keys are stored exclusively on your device, using Apple's iOS Keychain.
- We do not have access to, and cannot recover, your keys. If you lose access to your device without a separate backup of your keys, you may permanently lose access to any associated wallet.
- You are solely responsible for securing your device and any keys or recovery material associated with your wallet.
The Purse feature currently operates on public test networks. Test network assets have no real world monetary value. If and when CryptoGal introduces mainnet (real asset) functionality, these Terms will be updated accordingly and you will be notified.
Scam Analyzer
The Scam Analyzer processes content you choose to submit, using on device analysis, to help identify potential red flags. It is a decision support tool, not a guarantee. It may miss genuine scams and may flag legitimate content. Always exercise independent judgment.
Accounts and minimal data
Creating a CryptoGal account collects only your name, email address, and phone number. We use this information to run the App, verify your identity, and communicate with you. Any usage insights shown in the App are generated and stored on your device. We do not use advertising SDKs and we do not sell your data.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering or evading sanctions.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App's security features.
- Use the Scam Analyzer or AI chat to generate content intended to deceive or defraud others.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in the Club community space.
Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR FREE, OR SECURE. CRYPTOCURRENCY MARKETS AND TECHNOLOGY CARRY INHERENT RISK, INCLUDING THE RISK OF TOTAL LOSS.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRYPTOGAL INC. AND ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF FUNDS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING ANY LOSS RELATED TO SELF CUSTODIED KEYS OR WALLET ACTIVITY.
“In no event shall CryptoGal Inc.'s total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the App exceed the amount paid by you to CryptoGal Inc. during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater. This cap applies even if the limited remedies described in these Terms fail of their essential purpose.”
Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time, including as new features (such as mainnet wallet functionality) are introduced. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate, additional notice within the App.
Indemnification
“You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CryptoGal Inc., its founders, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claim, loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.”
Governing law
“This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.”
