Privacy Policy

• Creating a CryptoGal account collects your name, email address, and phone number. We use this only to run the app and communicate with you.
• We do not run advertising SDKs, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone, for any reason.
• CryptoGal is non custodial. We do not create, hold, or have access to your wallet keys, seed phrases, or real transaction history. Your wallet is controlled entirely by you.
• Messages you send to the AI chat guide are processed by our AI provider to generate a response; see Section 4 for how that works.

When you sign up for a CryptoGal account, we collect the following account information and store it securely on our backend:

• Name: To personalize your experience and address you in the app.
• Email address: For account login, support, and important updates.
• Phone number: For account verification and security.
• Support requests: Whatever you include in your message. Kept in our support inbox and used only to respond to you.

CryptoGal is a non custodial app. That means we do not have access to your crypto wallet, and we do not have the ability to move, freeze, or recover funds on your behalf.

• Wallet keys and seed phrases: These are generated on your device and stored only in your device's secure storage, such as iOS Keychain. We never receive them.
• Transaction history or balances: We do not know what you hold, send, or receive in your wallet.
• Real wallet activity: Your wallet provider and the blockchain network process your transactions directly. We are not a party to them.

Some information is necessary for the App to function. Where this data is stored, and for how long, depends on the feature:

• Learn: Course progress, streaks, and badges. Stored on device and synced to your account where applicable.
• Scam Analyzer: Text or screenshots you choose to submit for analysis. Processed on device via OCR; not retained by us after analysis.
• AI Chat: Your messages and conversation context. Sent to our AI provider to generate a response. See Section 5.

The AI chat feature is powered by a third party AI provider. When you send a message, that message and relevant conversation context are transmitted to generate a response. This is necessary for the feature to work at all: an AI guide can't answer a question it never receives.

We do not use your chat messages for advertising, and we do not sell them. Account identifiers are not attached to chat messages beyond what is technically required to deliver the service.

CryptoGal's infrastructure includes a small number of third party services that support how the App is built and run. As the App evolves, including toward mainnet wallet functionality, this list may grow, and this policy will be updated to reflect it.

• Wallet provider / blockchain network: Your wallet provider and the underlying blockchain network process your real transactions directly. We do not control or operate these networks.
• Apple: App distribution and Keychain services are provided by Apple as part of iOS.

CryptoGal is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the App in a way that concerns you, contact us and we will address it.

You can update your account information from within the App at any time. You can also request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Because your wallet is non custodial and stored on your device, deleting the App removes your on device wallet data from your device (so back these up first if you want to keep them).

Where applicable law grants you additional rights, such as access, correction, or deletion requests under the CCPA or GDPR, contact us at the address below and we will respond.

We rely on Apple's Keychain for on device key storage and design the App so that sensitive material never needs to leave your device in the first place. Account information is stored on our backend using industry standard security practices. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to keep your device and its operating system up to date.

If we change what data the App handles or how we handle it, we'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the App.
